Gorakhpur is the nearest Airport to reach Maghar. The distance from Gorakhpur airport to Maghar is only about 31 km. Apart from the famous religious city Gorakhpur, Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport located in Lucknow is also connected to major airports of the country. After landing in Lucknow, one can go to Maghar from here via train or taxi or bus. The distance from Maghar to Lucknow is 240 km. The distance from Maghar to Varanasi (Kashi) is about 200 km.
Most of the trains coming from Delhi or Mumbai go towards east via Maghar and Gorakhpur. Although Maghar is a small station, most of the express trains stop at Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda and Khalilabad.

Note : Saint Kabir's Samadhi Sthal is at some distance from Maghar Railway Station or Maghar Bus Station. For this you will have to take help of auto or rickshaw
