Sant Kabirdas is one of the Ilokaute poets of the Bhakti period of Hindi literature, who continues to attack the rift prevailing among the society and the people. He was an advocate of a work-oriented society and this is clearly visible in his smallest words. He wanted public welfare as if it was his whole life. Kabir actually had the experience of a virtuous world-lover. The biggest specialty of Kabir was that his talent had unstoppable speed and indomitable intensity. In the society, Kabir is called the founder of Mahavir era.


Birth

There are many legends regarding the birth of Kabirdas. Kabir followers believe that Kabir was born as a child on the beautiful lotus flowers growing in the Lahartara pond in Kashi. Some people say that he was a Muslim by birth and under the influence of Swami Ramanand in his youth, the things of Hindu religion were repeated in him. One day, at one o'clock in the night, the statues of Kabir Panchganga Ghat fell down. Ramanand ji was coming down the stairs to take bath in Ganga when his feet fell on Kabir's body. The words 'Ram-Ram' came out of his mouth. Kabir gave initiation mantra to the same Ram and accepted Ramanand ji as his guru. In Kabir's own words - How we manifest,
